‘I’m NOT Jesus!” – The Man Who Caused Commotion On The Streets Of Nairobi (Photos)

                         image

Last week, a respected admin posted that there was commotion in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi, when a man said to look like Jesus was seen walking through the central business district early on Tuesday evening. Here is the post.

Well, the man Kenyans thought was Jesus Christ is known as Daniel Christos and has come out to clarify that he is not Jesus but just a traveler who has been in the country for two weeks. Here is his photo

Here is what Daniel Christos posted on his Facebook account:

I arrived in Kenya less than 2 weeks ago from Ethiopia and have been welcomed with so much enthusiasm like I’ve never experienced before in my life. In fact, it’s been so extreme that it’s been a little overwhelming. Every single corner I walk on in Nairobi I have noticed someone either taking a photo or video while hundreds of times a day I hear people calling out “Jesus!”
Daniel applauded Kenyans for being good to him but what has shocked him was a post by someone claiming that he should be crucified just like Jesus.

“I shouldn’t have to respond to such close-minded nonsense but a quick message to whoever posted the photo and comment… I AM NOT Jesus! I HAVE NEVER PRETENDED TO BE. I am a traveler who has come to your country as a visitor, i would hope that one day if Jesus does return you treat him with a little more respect than you have treated me,” Daniel said.
To prove he isn’t Jesus, Daniel has been hanging out in the hot spots of Kenya. He was spotted yesterday at a popular city joint hanging out with Kenyans and as usual, Kenyans took pictures with him. Here is a photo of Christos smoking shisha that has left many surprised.

Popular company signs Frank edward as its Brand Ambassador

Popular company signs Frank Edwards as its brand ambassador

Multiple award-winning contemporary gospel artiste, Frank Edwards is moving from glory to glory even as he has been signed by Africa’s pioneer composite e-commerce outfit, Yudala,  as the company’s brand ambassador.  This announcement was contained in an official release made available by the company during the just-concluded Yudala Zero Gravity Rock Gospel Concert which was held at the Federal Palace Hotel, Lagos, in November, last Sunday.

At the concert, the company revealed that it will be signing on a brand ambassador from one of the ten major artistes featured at the concert. According to the statement released after the signing of agreement, the talented gospel artist is considered for being a renowned, talented singer-songwriter, worship leader, musician, producer and sound engineer.

The agreement also shows that the gospel artiste is expected to prominently represent the Yudala brand and feature heavily in the company’s marketing campaigns and consumer-focused strategies. In addition, he is expected to play a more significant role in Yudala’s future events, specifically the Rock Gospel Concerts which formed a major part of Yudala Zero Gravity Mega Music Concerts.

In response to the concert signing ceremony at Yudala Headquarters in Lagos, Edwards in short remarks, revealed his excitement at being selected to represent the Yudala brand, which he tagged as one of the most visible brands in the country today.

“I am delighted to be here today and on being signed on as a brand ambassador for Yudala. It is a privilege to be associated with a top brand such as Yudala which is one of the most visible and credible companies in Nigeria and Africa at the moment.”

“Yudala is doing something unprecedented as one of the few companies supporting the gospel in Nigeria today through the Yudala Zero Gravity Rock Gospel Concerts which this year alone, is being hosted in Abuja, Enugu and Lagos.”

“I am honoured to represent the Yudala brand and working together with the amazing and young team I have seen here, which is led by a 24-year old entrepreneur, we will certainly achieve much more together,” said Edwards.

Also speaking at the session, Founder/Vice President of the company, Prince Nnamdi Ekeh, noted that the choice of Frank Edwards was an easy one, especially considering his youth-centric nature, the many charity works he is involved in and most importantly, the fact that the artiste’s persona resonate with Yudala’s brand values. However, the Enugu-born Frank Ugochukwu Edwards is the founder and owner of the record label Rocktown Records, which is home to recording artists such as Edwards himself, Gil, Divine, King BAS, Enkay and David, among others.

The hugely popular recording artiste and multi-instrumentalist has six albums and many hit singles to his name. He released his debut album –The Definition – in 2008. Angels on the Runway, his second album was released in 2010 and another, Unlimited, in 2011. This was followed by Tag jam which was released in November 2011. He is currently known as Nigeria’s Hottest Gospel rock artiste. Besides being an artiste with many songs in all musical genre, he is also widely acknowledged as a genius producer and master mixer.

With Revealing Jesus as its theme, organisers say that this year’s edition of the concert is no different as the line-up of both international and indigenous gospel artistes is already fuelling anticipation.

Expected to thrill guests at the concert are none other than Don Moen, Frank Edwards, Travis Greene, Tope Alabi, Micah Stampley, Cece Winans, Donnie Mcclurkin, Gabriel Eziaschi, Eno Michaels, Chioma Jesus, Nwando, Tim Godfrey, Midnight Crew, Smokey Norful and Samsong.

“The purpose of this year’s edition is to further reach the world with the message of the Gospel of Christ, in a fashion so simple, yet effective. It is high time Christians stopped sitting in their corners and took centre stage to spread the Gospel of Jesus by truly Revealing Jesus” said, Pastor Paul Adefarasin, Senior Pastor, House on the Rock Church.

The Experience, which is a free concert, has grown to become the most anticipated gospel music event in Africa among Christians and non-Christians alike. It is reckoned as the largest gathering of people in a gospel music concert. Pastor Paul Adefarasin has also reemphasized that everybody regardless of race, culture, religions or works of life, is invited to experience God at The Experience.

ARTISTE OF THE WEEK: EDDIE BLACK (FROM CIRCULLAR TO GOSPEL)

Eddie Black is a pseudonym that has grown to be popular among the majority of the Zambian folk who are avid followers of the Hip Hop culture. His name often precedes him because of the admirable
qualities such as the formidable energy he exudes on the microphone and his ability to beautifully
contort rhymes, punchlines and metaphors effortlessly on tracks which can be attributed to it.
But that is only one side to this rap giant who has been terrorizing the Hip Hop scene for quite
sometime.

Nathaniel Edward Bangira Nchemba ( Born on the 29th of April) better known by his stage name Eddie Black 'Duke of Hazard' , is a hip hop, recording artist from Lusaka, Zambia. He began his rap career in 2011 when he met Erasto who heard him freestyle n' went on to produced his first demo songs What's the name of the game and Rock n' Rolla. Later that same year he came across an exceptionally talented producer and songwriter Peezey Cables who took him under his wing and together they launched the smash hit single 'Bangumfweko' which boasted massive national airplay, countless raving reviews from fans all over
the country and made it to the top ten national charts. Eddie was subsequently signed to Money Music Records who took a step further and published stunning visuals for his single which took the Hip Hop game by storm as it aired on every TV station across the country and was the word on everyone's lips. This alone attracted several features and collaborations with already established artists in the game who simply couldn't
avoid the buzz that this fresh new rapper had created.

And ever since then it has been one bomb after another. "I am the new phenomenon" became thee motto that Eddie Black adopted due to his quick climb to fame and also because nobody could outshine this uncommonly gifted young man. He has gone on to collaborate with other acts such as THE KICKS on a song called Sunrise to Sunset which also features Peezey Cables on the Done & Dusted Mixtape. Other tracks that he has released are ILI CHE which features Peezey Cables and the legendary Macky II, Old and Grey featuring KRYTIC AND SOLDIER, BLACK MAJIK featuring Young Majik and many other amazing songs. As co-founder of The Hip Hop For Change Movement "Zed We Can" it's always been Eddie Black's dream to not only earn, but also be able to give back to mankind. He hopes for a Zambia permeated with love, from the nation's leaders all the way down to the beggars on the streets. Also the rapper intends to use music as a grooming tool for other emcees encouraging them to gravitate towards imparting messages that positively impact the local community. Which they will then pass on to the outside world. Eddie Black acknowledges that it is a grueling pursuit, but it seems like nothing can stand in the way of this optimistic young man who has goals to be achieved as he concludes in his own words, " It will be a long journey, but we've taken the first step already by having this DREAM

I decided to start doing gospel music the day I got saved. I've been a musician for a few years now and I figured everything I do should be for the glory of the Lord. I recorded my first gospel single Nilandileni the day I got saved, I wanted to ask God to accept me and welcome me to the kingdom, it felt good doing a song for the most high. I wouldn't say I have any challenges even if I did I shall overcome through Christ  Jesus.

listen to the New song

A few weeks before I wrote this song, I told Fumbani I want to start doing Gospel Music and he was really surprised. I don't think he believed me until we got in studio. This is something that I wanted for a long time and thank God for youtube I was watching Rev Billy Graham on the morning of September 16th 2016 and I just decided I'm going to give my life to Christ. First thing I did was delete my old music from the internet, of course some songs are still on but everything I could access I deleted, it was hard letting go of 2 EP's and dozens of singles/videos but I just found myself doing it anyway. After doing that I sent a text Pastor Mpangwe Mutwale telling him the news and he was so nice welcomed me and said we should meet, he was so busy in my head I was like ''we need to meet now what if it was a hoax and I change my mind'' lol, but we did meet eventually and we talked and he got me this wonderful book that helped me through my Journey 'Destined to reign' by Joseph Prince if you JUST GOT SAVED get this book, it will help big time.
The evening of that day, it was a Friday on september 16th, I was in studio with Fumbani and I told him I wanna make a song saying I JUST GOT SAVED. In my head this was already my album title coz I was super excited, he was making the beat and I already knew what I was gonna say on it we finished the song in a hour. I hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoyed making it for you. My first single off my debut album Nilandileni.

Gospel Singer Shot Dead, Recalls Seeing ‘Heaven’s City’ before God Brings Him Back to Life

Image result for tony davis gospel artist photo
Gospel singer Tony Davis was shot five times and died, his heart shutting down. But half an hour later, to the doctors’ utter shock, he opened his eyes. He’s alive again! And that was just one of three miracles that happened to him.
How did this happen?
God Reports tells the amazing story of this rededicated Christian who went straight to heaven after he died. But he heard a voice—in all probability God’s—telling him that, no, he’s not staying there permanently yet because he still has a mission to perform on earth.
Davis was on his way to pick up his wife from work in Los Angeles, California when he became the random victim of a gang initiation. Gang members suddenly emerged from the side of the road and started firing their guns at him.

The first bullet struck his leg, causing him to collapse on the ground. Four other bullets pierced his body.
Bleeding heavily, Davis asked God, “Why have you deserted me? I can’t believe you let this happen after I dedicated my life to you.”
Davis then realised that what just happened to him was the work of the devil, not God.
A woman in white appeared out of nowhere and rubbed his head, telling him, “It’s going to be all right.”
Davis felt his spirit floating away from his body as his heart stopped beating.
He then saw “a huge beautiful city” with “beautiful colours he had never seen on earth before.”
But the wonderful feeling of complete peace and joy lasted only for a while as God told him that He’s sending him back to earth with a new mission. “It’s not yet your time. It’s time to go back,” he heard God telling him.

He then felt his spirit returning back to his body lying on a table at Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center. The doctors had just finished seven hours of surgery. They later informed his wife Chriselda that “he died on the table.”
Moments later, he proved the doctors wrong as he awoke, his heart beating again.
That was just the first miracle that happened to him that day.
Doctors told him they would have to amputate his badly injured leg.
Davis once again began to question God. “Why has this happened? I’m not a bad person,” he protested.
God replied, speaking to his heart: “There is something I want you to do.”
“What’s that Lord?” Davis asked.
“Forgive,” God replied. “If you forgive I’ll make you whole.”
He resisted the thought initially but realised he had to do God’s bidding and forgive his attackers.
All of a sudden Davis felt a warm sensation on his leg. It was God’s miraculous touch healing his body.

Once again, the doctors were dumbfounded when they saw him moving his “dead” leg.
Davis closed his eyes, whispering, “Thank you God.”
A third miracle happened the next day when one of the doctors removed a tube from his throat that was placed there to allow him to breathe. The doctors had earlier told him that he might not be able to speak or sing again after the tube was removed.
When the tube was removed, Davis took a deep breath.
“Say one word,” the doctor told him.
“Jesus,” Tony uttered.
“I can sing, I can jump on my leg,” he told the doctors.
Davis now believes that God restored his life to send him on a mission to share to the world about the power of forgiveness and undying faith in God.
