The Dream Project for Africa [DPA] has announced the second
edition of its twitference (Twitter Conference) series #JoinTheThinking.
This version is tagged "ARE AFRICAN YOUTHS MAKING NOISE OR IMPACT?",
and is scheduled to hold via Twitter on Saturday, September 3, 2016, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
Participants would be engaged in intellectual debates from 3 notable speakers:
Dr
(Mrs) Princess Olufemi-Kayode, a criminal psychologist, will champion
the topic - "Youth Leadership and Exuberance: What's the BIG IDEA to
Freedom?". This discussion will assess the role of the African youths in
the nation's growth and development. It will also offer the opportunity
of learning how the balance between freedom and responsibility. She
will shed light on how youths can manage their exuberance so that they
can present themselves as worthy leaders.
Raquel
Jacobs, a social change facilitator, will lead the topic - "What are
the nets and networks to measurable development among African youths?"
She will help assess the opportunities and challenges for the African
young people in contributing to national development. She will help to
the sketch the model of an African youth leader, and present ways the
young people can rise above challenges to make an impact. She will
proffer avenues through which African youths can actualize of the
African dream.
Adepeju Salu, also a social
change organizer will tackle the topic - "The African youth and the use
of social media for national growth and development." This discussion
seeks objectively to analyze the roles, successes and woes of
contemporary African youths in national development and assess the level
of impact that African youths are making. Salu will help enumerate the
powers of the social media and the level of usage among African youths.

is DPA's official hashtag through which the organization continues to
promote intellectual revolution among African youths through regular
impactful discussions.
Every problem, irrespective of its broadness, was solved by people who committed to thinking and acting. #JoinTheThinking is that platform for Africans to think the nation forward and act on the products of those thoughts.
