Some school of thought said marriage is 99% spiritual while some argues that it is 99% physical. Either ways they would have had their vital reasons and experiences to have come to these conclusion.
However, in my opinion I will put forward a 40% spiritual and a 60% physical. The reason being that humans relate with another on the physical level while the spiritual aspect is the hidden self.
Your physical actions should be more because it is what expresses the spirit you. It is until your physical gives voice to your spirit having high percentage on the spiritual can be a disaster to a relationship. However, the ultimate goal is to go for a balance.
