These past few weeks have been really hectic and busy for me. Few of my friends and I embarked on a music album project under the auspices of my Youth Church which I coincidentally pastor (by God's divine will). It was a tough process but a great learning curve for everyone.
Sincerely, it looked like an impossible feat and I developed cold feet as regards the project but for the encouragement of some fathers-in-the Lord who continually pushed and believed it was never impossible.
So after many night and days, we completed the work. I can remember the excitement, hugs, smiles and pecks after we concluded the recording.
I remember having to write one of my best songs (after a heart-shattering experience). This taught me a few lessons;
Don't give up in your dreams
Nothing is impossible.
Take the first step and every other will align.
Face your fears headlong.
So here we are, we have come, seen and conquered. We can only do better from here.
Whatever it is you have set your heart to do this year, believe it can still be a reality. Get on your feet and go for it.
Get that business idea up and running, propose to that beautiful lady you've always had an eye on, attempt that exam again (though you failed the last time).
God sure know how to bring the best out of every situation.
I probably wouldn't have written that song if what happened hadn't happened.
There's a message to that mess so don't get stuck. Wash up (off the mud) and get running.
I believe you can.
Due for release on September 25 2016. Lifestreams, the Youth Choir of All Saint's Anglican Parish Church, Ikosi, releses their maiden music album "Lord You Reign".
