Specialists say that frequently deliberating financial matters might be just as important as any other component of a healthy relationship.
Quite logically, and as established by the results of the survey, consistent talks may also make it less likely that partners will keep financial secrets from each other.
The most common way of hiding financial secrets from partners seems to be by keeping a bank account that their spouse knew nothing about and 37% had significant undisclosed debt.
Hiding secrets about finances seems to be directly linked to some breakups, as one out of every 10 persons that took the survey said they would end a relationship if they discovered that their partner keeping a financial secret from them.
