They are pastors who command a lot of respect and fellowship in Abuja. Their churches are not just big, their congregation would make many of envy them on account of size and richness. Some who have the prophetic vision are known to even command respect on the corridors of power.


GRAHAM JACOBS

Evangelist Graham Jacobs is one of the few men of God who presently hold sway in Abuja. Since Graham started his ministry a couple of months back, things have not been the same as many worshipers from other churches have been attending his weekly Sunday afternoon programmes. The Jabi venue of the programme is always filled to the dream so also his office located not too far from, Next Shopping Mall. What makes his case special is the fact that he tell it as he sees it. They call him Untouchable, they also call his ministry the same name. Ever since he relocated to Abuja, he has been one of the biggest crowd pullers among the city’s pastors. Despite the fact that his church building was pulled down through conspiracy some months back, he has bounced back stronger and polling more crowd. He is of the Redeemed Christian Church of God. he was in the eye of the storm about two years ago when he was controversially posted out of the Central Parish to Jikwoyi an Abuja suburb, but this has not in any way reduced his popularity as his weekly programme has continued to endear him to the youths and many others.

Bishop John Praise is another wavemaking pastor in Abuja. He heads the Dunamis Church and under his leadership the church has grown in leaps and bounds in the last couple of years. His closeness to President Goodluck Jonathan while the latter was in power further enhanced his status and gave him more popularity. The church holds several services every Sunday.
