The new Bride Idowu Kehinde Damilola shares the story of she and her twin sister Taiwo met their hubby and the choice they both had in choosing same day.
KENNY:
I met my husband 2009,he was one of the big
brother on my street,i use to call him "boda wale". Anytime he comes
back from work,we do hangout some where called "abule",we gist a
lot, talk about everything, we were so close. We started as friends and
after few years he ask me out, i thought it was a joke because his not
the type that really get close to ladies, lets say am his first
girlfriend and now wife.
I choose to wait for her (taiwo) because is what have always wanted.
Surprisingly our hubby bear he same name. Though we didn't share things together but we have a special bond.
The concept of using twins as our little bride is from my twin.
It very challenging having to agree on the same thing for the
wedding. My mum threatened she wont come for our wedding if we didn't agree
on the same things but finally God took control of everything and today
we are happy.
Twins Taiwo and Kehinde got married to namesakes Olawale on the same day. Their flower girls were also twins!
The brides and their grooms wore matching attire – the same aso oke, and identical wedding dresses and suits.
